Southside rises in final ASWA high school football poll

Southside climbed two spots in the final 2013 Alabama Sports Writers Association high school football poll released Wednesday.

The Panthers (10-0) moved up from No. 6 in Class 5A. Southside defeated Moody 34-28 Friday during Week 10 play.

In 3A, Piedmont jumped one spot to No. 5. Fyffe remained at No. 4 in 2A.

Also receiving votes in 3A was Geraldine.
