Litchfield Middle boys suffer first loss of season

The Litchfield Middle School boys basketball team suffered its first loss of the season in a 41-39 setback to Gadsden Middle on Thursday.

The game was close throughout, with Gadsden Middle (12-1) holding a small edge at each quarter break: 16-14, 26-21, 32-30.

Deontae Jones scored 14 points to lead Litchfied (13-1). Adam Parker added 13 points and Anthony Burns chipped in eight.
