Southside bests Sardis 61-39

SOUTHSIDE — Southside topped Etowah County rival Sardis 61-39 in boys high school basketball Thursday.

Saige Benson had 12 points and 14 points for Southside (4-1). Chris Leonhardt totaled 15 points and four assists. Drew Mullinax scored 14 points and four assists.
