Pair of Titans to play in All-Star game

Finesse Middleton and Rodney Edwards of Gadsden City have been selected to play in the 26th annual Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Football Game on Dec. 15.
Middleton and Edwards, both defensive linemen, will be two of 40 seniors from Alabama to participate in the contest. Middleton, 6-foot-2, 240 pounds, is committed to play college football for Ole Miss. Edwards, 6-foot-3, 265 pounds, is considering Southern Miss, Middle Tennessee State and Mississippi State.
Several players committed to Alabama and Auburn also will play in the game. The Tide’s commits who will participate include athlete ArDarius Stewart of Fultondale, defensive lineman Darius Page of Foley and offensive lineman Grant Hill of Huntsville.
The Tigers’ commitments include linebacker Reuben Foster of Auburn, defensive lineman Dee Liner of Muscle Shoals and quarterback Jeremy Johnson of Carver-Montgomery, among others.
