Westbrook girls claim victory over Ohatchee

SAND ROCK — The Westbrook Christian Warriors used a 15-8 first quarter to defeat the Ohatchee Indians 45-38 Thursday night in the Class 2A, Area 13 tournament.
The Warriors went on to lead the next two quarters, 20-16 and 33-23.
Mary Katherine Catanzaro led Westbrook with 15 points.
Peighton Streip had a strong all-around game against the Indians with 14 points, 10 steals, seven rebounds and seven assists.
Courtney Bolton had eight points and 10 rebounds.
The Warriors (12-11) will play Sand Rock at 2 p.m. Saturday in the final.
