Glencoe boys to face J.B. Pennington

GLENCOE — Glencoe learned it will face J.B. Pennington in the semifinals of the Class 3A, Area 10 tournament.

Pennington advanced to face the host Yellow Jackets by knocking off Susan Moore 76-44 in the tournament’s opening round Tuesday night.

Andrew Vaughn and Austin Taylor scored 13 and 10 points, respectively, in the win.

Tristen Price led Susan Moore with 11 points.

Glencoe and Pennington play in the first semifinal game at 6 p.m. followed by Ashville and Hokes Bluff in the other semifinal at 7:30 p.m.
